I sit in the garden and watch as the herbs - thyme, rosemary, parsley, mint, sage, chives - appear to be growing before my eyes. I make a note to remove the pointed buds from the chives before they flower. A potato salad should do the job.
Choice of tune? In TW it's more likely to be Purcell rather than (as here in Hfds) "The yellow rose of Texas".

BB, you know, I'm sure, that "The Yellow Rose of Texas" is the Texas national anthem? Should Tejas prevail in its bid to secede from the Union, that is.
