In The Grove a Pekingese with bright eyes trots by. It is unfortunate enough to have a docked tail, which does not improve the view from behind. I like most animals  and in particular I suppose mammals,  except, that like human beings, they have arse holes, which some species have the habit of flaunting. Pity about the lost tail.
